In English this term, we have enjoyed focusing on the book ‘There’s a Dragon in Your Book!’ by Tom Fletcher. Our literary journey began with finding clues and a large egg in the Eco Garden. We had to use the clues to guess what animal could be inside the egg.

We have now created our own stories of an animal inside a book and they are brilliant!

In Science, we have been learning about the seasons and how the weather changes in each one. We made pictograms to show how many hours of daylight there are in each season.

As part of our learning on Creation this term in RE, we focused on how we are stewards of the Earth and created a class pledge to make sure we are being stewards like Sofia the Sloth from our CST principles tells us to be.

In History we have been learning about how we are making history and how childhoods have changed. We focused on the 1960s and looked at how birthdays were celebrated and compared it to now. Mrs Paice showed us pictures of her growing up in the 1960s and spoke about games she used to play and toys she played with.
