Our mission at St.
Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Primary School is to provide a learning
environment in which all children and staff reach their potential in an
atmosphere of kindness, empathy, honesty, gratitude, courage and love.
All our work is
inspired by the teachings of Christ and His Church.
Working in
partnership with parents and carers, we aim to enhance and celebrate the moral,
physical, social and emotional development of all children entrusted to us.
We are an inclusive community, welcoming and accepting all who enter our school, regardless of ability or background; teaching children to be understanding of the world they are growing up in, together with learning how to live alongside and respect diversity within our society.
Our School Values
At St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Primary School we recognise the importance of holistic development and we aim to develop the social, emotional, physical, mental, and intellectual growth of all of our children. The embedding of our school values within our School Vision, Mission, Ethos and Curriculum, enables the children to develop character traits and behaviours that instil motivation and guide their conduct so they reflect wisely, learn eagerly, behave with integrity and work well with others.
Through the teaching of our School Values, underpinned by the fundamental British Values, children learn to live out the values; demonstrating the virtues of being kind, caring, honest, thankful, brave and loving children of God.
Our Child-Friendly Mission and Values Statement
To
help the children understand our school's mission, in consultation with the
school council, we have developed a child-speak school mission statement:

We, with St. Augustine of Canterbury, are inspired by the example
